Ben grew up in north Austin and fell in love with Jesus and the local church at a young age. While attending Texas State University—where he floated the river and attended class occasionally—Ben felt called to full-time ministry. Over the last 12 years, Ben has served in student ministry at four different churches throughout Texas. In 2023, Ben met his wife, Allison, and they discovered they share a deep love of the Longhorns and sharing the Gospel with the next generation. After getting married in June 2025, Ben received the great joy and honor of joining the Midtown staff to serve the campus and student body they love so much as College Pastor. When they’re not with college students, you can find them playing cards, attending concerts downtown, or cheering on the Longhorns. Ben and Allison love their 11 nieces and nephews and enjoy taking them on adventures all over Austin.
