I’ve always loved to draw and paint, and I agree with Vincent Van Gogh’s quote: “There is nothing more truly artistic than to love people.” I would also add “…and to respond to God’s love through Jesus Christ.” That truth has molded me for the last 40 years of my adult life as an ongoing student/follower/disciple of Jesus. I want inner change every day, whether in my four-decade-long marriage to Jeff, in my three-decade-long experience as “Mom,” in deep conversations with friends over a meal, or in serving someone who needs help. I am so thankful for Midtown Church, and I’m happy to be growing with others here as we learn to love others with kindness and patience by learning from Jesus.
